Privacy Policy

Upboost helps teams find relevant public conversations on Reddit, LinkedIn, Instagram and X, follow competitors, and prepare replies. This page explains the information used by those features. For privacy requests, contact support@upboo.st.

Account and business information

Google sign-in supplies your Google account identifier, verified email address, name, and profile image. We store these details to identify your account and show your name and picture in the console. Sign-in requests basic identity permissions; it does not request access to your Gmail, Drive, or Search Console data.

We store the business descriptions, website addresses, voice notes, watches, competitors, team memberships, invitations, drafts, and settings that you enter. Members of a business can access its shared information according to their assigned roles. Account and business identifiers are also used in access checks and activity records.

Public conversations and AI processing

Watches collect public posts and comments from Reddit, LinkedIn, Instagram and X, including usernames, text, links, media links, and engagement information. Competitor watches collect public posts by and about the competitors you name. Website-reading features retrieve public pages from the address you provide. Upboost uses this information to suggest communities, assess relevance, follow competitors, and prepare summaries or draft replies. Nothing is read from your own accounts on those platforms, and nothing is posted for you.

These features send collection requests to our data collection provider and, for X, to a separate X data provider; they send relevant website text, business descriptions, watch goals, voice notes, and conversation content to the configured AI provider, currently DeepSeek. AI output can be wrong; review it before you rely on it. Avoid entering confidential or sensitive personal information into business descriptions, watch goals, voice notes, or drafts.

Notifications and other service providers

If you enable an alert channel, alert content and its destination are sent to that channel's provider. Supported channels include email through Resend, Telegram, Slack, and Discord; availability depends on the server configuration. Connected assistants and access keys can read or change business information within their granted permissions.

The console shows a small icon for each business's website, fetched from Google's favicon service using the website address you entered, and your Google profile picture, loaded from Google. Hosting, database, backup, and operational services process information needed to run Upboost. Google profile information is used for account identity and team access; it is not included in the AI prompts used to assess conversations.

Cookies, logs, and security

Upboost uses cookies for sign-in sessions and request security. Browser storage remembers interface choices, such as your theme and sidebar. Operational records include activity outcomes, provider usage, delivery results, and technical information needed to investigate errors and abuse.

Access checks restrict business data to authorized members. Stored integration secrets use encryption, and public access uses HTTPS. No system can guarantee absolute security.

Retention and your choices

Business information remains available until removed through the application or a support request. Archiving a business hides it from normal use; it does not erase its records. Deleting a business removes its watches, leads, competitors, drafts, and settings right away. Backups and operational records may retain copies for a limited period after information is removed from the application.

You can edit business settings, remove alert channels, and revoke access keys through the available controls. Contact support@upboo.st to request access, correction, export, or deletion of your account information. We may need to verify your identity and authority over a shared business before acting on a request.

You can also revoke Upboost's Google access in your Google account. Revoking Google access does not itself delete records already stored by Upboost.

Changes

Updates to this page will show a revised date. Material changes to how Google account data is used require an updated disclosure and consent before that new use begins.
